The Minster School was founded in 627 A.D. by Paulinus, the first Archbishop of York for the education of the choristers and has been a centre of knowledge and learning ever since. The school grounds are set right in the centre of the historical city of York and stands next to York Minster, an icon of gothic architecture. It is home to 180 pupils, including the boy & girls choristers of York Minster, as it has been for almost one and a half millennia.

Fettle have been working with The Minster School to update the school brand and to bring the historical landmark’s identity into the 21st century. This was to realign the branding with the cutting edge facilities and teaching that go alongside the historic backdrop. The identity overhaul included stationery design, signage and way-finding, a new website and commissioning new photography.Photography: Victoria Harley & United Creatives
